Terms of Enquiry

These terms cover what happens when you send an enquiry through this site. They are deliberately short, because this site does not take bookings or payments. Nothing here is a booking contract.

What an enquiry is

An enquiry is a request for information. Sending one places you under no obligation and costs nothing. We reply by email, normally within 24 hours, with what is actually available for your dates and what it costs.

Nothing is reserved until we have confirmed availability with the boat and you have accepted a written quotation. A price shown on this site is not a reservation and does not hold a place.

Prices

Prices on this site are shown as "from" figures. They are the starting point of a range and they depend on the cabin class, the season, the size of your party and, on a charter, on the boat.

A quoted price includes only what the cruise page lists as included. Two items are excluded on every cruise and are worth naming here because they surprise people: the Raja Ampat environmental permit, which is paid separately, and dive insurance, which is mandatory and which you arrange yourself.

Currency conversions shown anywhere on this site are indicative. The amount you are quoted is the amount that applies.

Availability and vessels

We match your dates to a boat that suits the trip you have asked for. Until a booking is confirmed we do not promise a specific vessel, a specific cabin or a specific departure date, and you should not treat any of those as agreed before it is in writing.

Routes are planned in advance and sailed to conditions. A captain may change a site, an anchorage or the order of an itinerary for weather, sea state or safety. That is normal on every boat in this region and it is not a change to what you bought.

Your information

We use what you send us to answer your enquiry. We do not sell it and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked a question. Enquiries reach the same team that answers for the rest of the Asik Travel group.

Accuracy

We check the facts on this site against primary sources and we mark anything we cannot confirm. Fees, schedules and regulations set by third parties change without notice, and a figure that was right when we published it may not be right when you read it. Where a number matters to your plans, ask us and we will check it.

Who you are dealing with

The operator of this site is named in the footer, with its business licence number. Any agreement you enter into is with that company.
